Thanks to all for making this past weekend so great!  The Joel Plaskett/Spades show at The Festival Of lights was a success.  We were blown away with the response and crowd at our Splice show later that evening and you all made us feel real good about our new documentary which was played before our short acoustic set.  In other news, on Friday August 17th we will be playing the Rivoli in Toronto with Jerry Leger and the situation.  The entire show will be filmed for a live Spades DvD release.  We are working hard on making this a night to entertain your brains and ears to the max.  We plan to have some
real hip guests with us that night so don't miss it.  As if the summer wasn't feeling good enough already, come out and catch us at The Kee To Bala with Sam Roberts on August 31st and Sept 1st.  This will be our first time playing the Kee and our second show with Sam.  A true Canadian with a heart of gold.  Keep your eyes and ears open as we are working on a show for the Peterborough area come september.

What a weekend ahead! First off a show in Ottawa with Peter Elkas! at Zaphods then The Festival of Lights show with The Joel Plaskett Emergency! Friday The Spades hit the stage at 9pm sharp so get there early cover is $10. The following night in Peterborough The Spades take to the stage at 8pm at The Festival of Lights opening for The Emergency.
